November 15 – Portsmouth – ISSA NH & SEA TUG Meeting


In a continued effort to increase networking opportunities and promote technology discussions in the Seacoast area, Axis is sponsoring user groups ISSA & SEA-TUG as they host a joint meeting discussing relevant and current security topics. Join ISSA & SEA-TUG on Wednesday November 15, at 6pm to learn from Jan Dyment, founder of Dyment Research Associates. Jan will be presenting on the topic of Examining United States Readiness for Cyberattacks on the Power Grid, asking the question “Are we Ready?”

Jan Dyment graduated with honors from Harvard University Extension School in Cambridge, MA, receiving her degree in International Relations with a field of study in Leadership. Her senior research project examined United States readiness for cyberattacks on the power grid. Jan founded Dyment Research Associates to put this research to work and help inform policy that ensures a secure cyberspace. She is currently i2 Threat Hunting Product Marketing Manager for IBM Security in Cambridge, MA.
