OVER HALF (54%) OF THOSE WHO HAVEN’T YET DEPLOYED HYPERCONVERGED INFRASTRUCTURE HAVE PLANS TO ADOPT IT IN THE NEXT 24 TO 36 MONTHS
Still sorting through the basics of hyperconverged infrastructure? Well, there’s a new report that will provide some insight into what your peers are up to—all 512 of them—and commentary by vExpert Scott D. Lowe.
ActualTech Media recently conducted a survey, polling IT professionals about their use of and interest in hyperconverged infrastructure. They released the results of that survey today in the 2015 State of Hyperconverged Infrastructure Market report.
Hyperconverged Infrastructure Adoption
The survey results show that hyperconverged infrastructure adoption is small but growing. While about one-quarter of respondents have already implemented hyperconvergence, over half (54%) of those who haven’t yet deployed hyperconverged infrastructure have plans to adopt it in the next 24 to 36 months. This shift in data center infrastructure is a critical step toward IT simplification and a software-defined data center.
